Are there any documented cases where a human that has the inability to burn fat?

i’m asking for a couple reasons. one, i have a client i train that hasn’t lost one pound in the 3 months i’ve been training her and has NEVER lost anymore than 10 pounds her entire life. otherwise, she has only gained weight her whole life. after reviewing her food journal (that i full-heartedly believe she follows) she should have been loosing AT LEAST one pound a week.

mostly, i’m just curious in general, not that i’d list her with this sort of disease.

please just let me know if there are any documented cases of this or anything like it instead of ranting on what kind of training i should do for my client! lol, thanks guys!
oh yeah! also, don’t include anything about thyroid issues, i’m asking about anything else other than thyroid problems causing the inability to lose fat!

Hi , there is a common cause of unexplained resistance to weight loss measures .Though frequently over looked by doctors even. So , you can rule out that . This is a situation of Hormonal disturbance —Insulin Resistance–PCOS . In this ,there are usually mensuration irregularities ,coupled with unaccounted weight gain and on sonography they will have poly cystic ovaries. Condition is called Poly cystic ovary syndrome ( PCOS ). as the girls are shy of speaking about menses ,weight is only outward expression of this problem ,hence goes undetected. What are some of the best fat burning workout?

I do all types of training, but I have a lot of fat that I have to lose – what are some of the best workouts to reduce my body fat?

Swimming laps for me atleast fun sounds, it builds muscle not quite as much as it weight lifting, but more than cardio does, and it will lose fat better than weight lifting and remember to eat a lot pottasium so you dont get cramps.
