Is green tea the answer to losing belly fat?

I've just started in the gym and I also changed my diet completely, because I really need to lose £ 20. I keep hearing about green tea and its impact on helping people lose abdominal fat. Is this true? I think you need to drink like 5 cups a day. Is there a green tea pills, or what?
